Self-appreciation

One of the biggest mistakes a person can commit is low self-appreciation. Because there are major bad consequences in doing so such as: low self-esteem, feeling empty, and these might lead to far worse other consequences like: depression, or other psychiatric illnesses which can be complicated for a person to treat.

In contrast, when you feel empty and have low self-appreciation, try to count your belssings and happy moments more often or if you can, it’s even better to do that thing every day until it becomes a habit. Once you develop this habit, your self-appreciation level will rise and you’ll always know how to overcome the problem of low self-appreciation.

But, how does a person have a low self-appreciation? Where is the source of such a thing? The answer is simple. It’s because you always focus on your weaknesses, what you don’t have instead of focusing on yourself and what you own, or you are comparing yourself with other successful people, or maybe you are jealous from these people and this comparison might lead you to look at the people who are better than you and tend to neglect people who are under you and do not have what you possess.

To sum up, try to find what you’re great at and then try to develop yourself day after day and you’ll become to notice with time big differences in yourself.
