Self-goalkeeper

In soccer, a goalkeeper is the one responsible for the goal’s safety from possible attacks. But what if the goal was your own self? Imagine that. Will you defend yourself from people’s negative comments, offenses, or even betrayals?

If you practice to defend yourself from these negative attitudes over time, and worked hard on building yourself from the inside, you will gain what I call: “self-immunity”. This also cannot come that easily because you will still need your family environment support and other environments that you engage in like your work, the club, and your close friends whom you trust their honesty and empathy.

Above that, you need to have the spirit of a samurai that is characterized of solid determination, strong beliefs, and bravery in order to keep yourself impenetrable just like the goal you are defending from negative attacks.

So, consider yourself as your own goal where you have to keep it safe throughout the game. Once you reach the “self-immunity” stage, you’ll feel of inner peacefulness and self-satisfaction. Thus, you can live a happy, quiet, and peaceful life.
